Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Basingstoke is seeking a Sales Controller to lead the dealership sales team, coach staff, and coordinate customer interactions including test drives. You will drive outstanding results while maintaining a high standard of customer service, reporting to the management team.

The role requires proven sales leadership in a main-dealer environment and FCA accreditation, with strong organisational and multitasking abilities to deliver efficient customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Controller or Senior Sales role in a main-dealer environment; high-performing sales executives looking to step up will also be considered.
• FCA accreditation is essential.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a focus on customer service and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the sales team—providing motivation, coaching, and development—to deliver outstanding results
• Conduct regular one to one meetings, manage vehicle part exchanges, and assist with second face customer interactions when needed
• Ensure an excellent customer experience by overseeing Sales Executives and coordinating test drives effectively
