Job summary

• Provide a comprehensive, accurate, and timely service to healthcare professionals, patients and their representatives.
• Act as first point of contact by phone or in person with a welcoming, helpful attitude.
• Accurately record patient details in IT systems as required.
• Be flexible to cover for colleagues at short notice, ensuring 24-hour cover when needed.
• Communicate clearly via telephone, email and face-to-face.
• Complete documentation for processing referrals into and out of the service.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, patient focus, multitasking and attention to detail.
• Work independently and as part of the team to provide safe, efficient service.
