Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Receptionist for our Urgent Treatment Centre at Crawley Hospital. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a calm, friendly and professional service with strong communication skills.

The role includes coordinating reception and clerical services to support efficient operation across UTC/CAU, with flexible hours across 7:15am–10:15pm, Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive patients and visitors to the service; respond to queries and requests per procedures.
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the office environment and address issues.
• Undertake admin tasks as assigned.
• Attend team meetings within the service.
• Format letters and reports as needed.
• Carry out photocopying.
• Process incoming and outgoing post promptly.
