Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a capable administrator to assist the Undergraduate Admin Lead and Medical faculty in coordinating medical education services. You will support Clinical Educators and Educational Supervisors, manage databases, and help prepare timetables and teaching materials for undergraduate students.

The role involves site-wide coordination across the Education Department and may involve working across both trusts.

Qualifications

• Administrative tasks and coordination
• Experience supporting medical education or clinical teaching (desirable)
• Ability to analyse feedback and assist in report production
• Organisational skills for timetable and workload planning
• Experience with maintaining and updating websites or intranet content

Responsibilities

• Provide administration to assist the Undergraduate Admin Lead and Medical faculty and Clinical Educators with coordinating and delivering medical education services
• Act as systems administrator for the Education Department and manage databases related to Undergraduate Medical Education
• Maintain and update the content of the intra/internet site
• Analyse feedback/evaluations and assist in producing reports highlighting issues
• Organise work placements for students pursuing a career in medicine
• Provide support to Faculty including Educational Supervisors, Royal College Tutors and Clinical Supervisors
• Prepare timetables, rotas and information packs for undergraduate students and assist in mentor allocation
• Liaise with faculty and clinical educators to plan teaching requirements and ensure timetables and presentations are available in good time
• Assist Clinical Educators to plan activities with the Undergraduate Department (e.g. MOSLERs and workshops)
• Work across sites within both organisations when required
• Support staff wellbeing and development initiatives and promote Making Every Contact Count approach to health and wellbeing
