Job summary

Comex 2000 in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive IT Field Technician to join our team. This field-based role combines hands-on technical support with infrastructure assessments across our locations throughout the UK.

You will travel extensively to provide onsite support, resolve complex issues, set up equipment for new starters, and contribute to IT service improvements while maintaining security standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
• Ability to diagnose complex hardware, software and network issues.
• Experience supporting multiple sites and remote users.
• Willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the UK to provide onsite technical support and infrastructure assessments.
• Respond to and resolve escalated technical issues across multiple company locations.
• Set up hardware and software for new employees and support equipment deployments.
• Maintain IT asset registers and contribute to knowledge bases and documentation.
