Job summary

GetRecruited UK Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager for the UK & Ireland. The role is remote with substantial travel across the region, targeting OEMs, distributors and channel partners to grow market share and revenue.

The successful candidate will bring B2B sales experience in doors, gates or related automation sectors, with a hunter mentality and strong negotiation skills. 70% travel across the UK & Ireland is expected.

Qualifications

Must have proven B2B sales or business development experience within the industrial doors, garage doors, automated gates, access control, entrance automation or loading bay equipment sectors, or a closely related technical industry.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new customers and commercial opportunities across the UK & Ireland
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline against revenue targets
Develop existing strategic accounts, including OEM and distribution partners
Identify new routes to market and target accounts
Monitor competitor activity and market developments to identify growth opportunities
Negotiate commercial agreements and long-term profitable relationships
Work with Product Management, Customer Operations and the European commercial team
Run targeted sales initiatives and programmes to convert prospective accounts
Deliver customer meetings, presentations and product/business propositions
