Job summary

Odin Recruitment Group is seeking a field-based Business Development Manager to cover the UK, travelling extensively to build and grow the sales pipeline. You will identify opportunities, engage with senior decision-makers and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to order.

The ideal candidate has proven B2B field sales experience, a track record of closing deals, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B business development or field sales.
• Track record of winning new business and hitting targets.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms and margins.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship skills.
• Comfort engaging with senior decision-makers on complex deals.
• Self-motivated and able to manage a field-based workload independently.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel UK-wide.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business across the UK.
• Build a strong pipeline across haulage, logistics, distribution, transport.
• Research target markets and potential customers.
• Generate new business via prospecting, events and meetings.
• Develop relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Deliver sales presentations and lead negotiations.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact to quotation and order.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support order delivery.
