Odin Recruitment Group is seeking a Business Development Manager (South) to drive growth across the UK. This field-based role involves identifying new opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline and managing customer relationships from prospecting to order placement.

You will negotiate terms, present solutions and work with internal teams to ensure successful order delivery. Prior experience in trailer/manufacturing or logistics is advantageous, with a proven sales track record and full UK

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in B2B business development, field sales or commercial account management.
• Strong track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements, pricing and margins.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and managing complex sales opportunities.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing a field-based workload independently.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.

Aufgaben

• Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers across haulage, logistics, distribution, retail and transport.
• Research target markets, fleet operators and potential customers to identify commercial opportunities.
• Generate new business through telephone prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events and face-to-face meetings.
• Develop relationships with senior decision-makers, including Fleet Directors, Transport Directors, Procurement Managers, Operations Directors and business owners.
• Arrange customer visits, deliver sales presentations and lead commercial negotiations.
• Understand customer fleet requirements and recommend appropriate trailer specifications and solutions.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through to quotation, negotiation and order placement.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue, margin and customer acquisition targets.
