Job summary

Cato Networks in the United Kingdom is seeking a UK-focused Sales Engineer to serve as the technical resource for the field sales team. You will drive technical evaluations, deliver product demonstrations, and advocate for our cloud-native security platform to both business and technical users.

You will translate customer needs into product requirements, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and collaborate with Product Management. Travel across the sales territory is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking technology including LAN, WAN, switching and routing.
• Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls and filtering.
• Exposure to AI/AI Security technologies preferred.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
• Present the product to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
• Travel throughout the sales territory.
