Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised educational support in Daventry and surrounding areas across Primary, Secondary, GCSE and SEND learners.

You will work with pupils who may require targeted academic intervention, SEND, SEMH needs, or EHCPs, helping them build confidence and make progress within the UK National Curriculum.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' UK teaching or tutoring experience delivering UK National Curriculum.
• Experience working with Primary, Secondary, GCSE and/or SEND learners.
• QTS or a recognised teaching qualification preferred.
• Excellent communication, behaviour-management and relationship-building skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition across Primary, Secondary and GCSE subjects in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs, abilities and learning styles.
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, EHCPs and additional learning needs.
• Use inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies to improve engagement, confidence and independence.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate session records.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families, schools, Local Authorities and other professionals.
• Provide a safe, supportive and encouraging learning environment.

About the Role

TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is looking for passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised educational support to children and young people across Daventry and surrounding areas.

You will work with learners who may require targeted academic intervention, alternative education, or additional support due to SEND, SEMH needs or EHCPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition across Primary, Secondary and GCSE subjects in line with the UK National Curriculum.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' UK teaching or tutoring experience delivering the UK National Curriculum.
• Experience working with Primary, Secondary, GCSE and/or SEND learners.
• QTS or a recognised teaching qualification is preferred, although experienced tutors are also encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication, behaviour-management and relationship-building skills.
• Patience, adaptability and the ability to engage positively with young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
