Help Transform Learning for Children Who Need It Most!

Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate SEN Outreach Tutor to provide personalised, 1:1 education for pupils who are currently out of school. This is an incredible opportunity to make a real difference by helping young learners regain confidence and structure in their education.

About the Role

As an SEN Outreach Tutor, you'll design and deliver bespoke lessons that meet the unique needs of each child. Many of these pupils have been out of education for some time, so your creativity, patience, and specialist SEN knowledge will be key to re‑engaging them and boosting their progress.

You'll work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor progress and ensure every student receives the support they deserve.

Key Details
  • Location: Bromley and surrounding areas
  • Hours: Flexible - typically 10-15 hours per week (sessions 1-3 hours)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay: From £25 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary, tailored to each student's needs
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
  • Strong experience supporting SEN learners (primary level experience desirable)
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • A compassionate, adaptable approach to teaching
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
  • Two recent child‑related references
