Our Team

Join the Audi F1 Project, competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The project spans three locations: Neuburg (Germany), Hinwil (Switzerland), and the UK. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, with chassis and race operations managed in Hinwil and the UK.

We are seeking a passionate individual with an athlete's mindset to contribute to our high-performance motorsport team. This position is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.

Your role involves working on the combustion process and calibration of a high-performance powertrain, focusing on maximizing engine performance and efficiency while ensuring reliability. Responsibilities include development measures during concept, design, commissioning, and testing phases.

Your Mission:

1. Develop combustion processes and gas exchange via 3D-CFD simulations.
2. Perform thermodynamic development of engine gas exchange, combustion phases, and flow simulations of intake & exhaust systems.
3. Plan, execute, and evaluate 3D CFD simulations with comprehensive reports.
4. Correlate simulation data with measurement data from engine tests and test benches.
5. Enhance workflows and toolchains for simulation and data correlation.

Your Profile:

1. Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or equivalent.
2. Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development, specifically 3D CFD simulation.
3. Strong knowledge of engine technology and virtual development tool chains.
4. Experience handling data from test benches.
5. Excellent teamwork, organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
6. Independent and precise working practices.
7. Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language.
