Job Description

Join the Audi F1 Project, competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. Our team spans three locations: Neuburg (Germany), Hinwil (Switzerland), and UK. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, with chassis and race operations managed in Hinwil.

We seek a candidate with the mindset of an athlete—resilient, determined, and driven to overcome limits—to contribute to this historic motorsport project. The position is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop combustion process and gas-exchange via 3D-CFD simulations
• Conduct thermodynamic development of the engine's gas-exchange, combustion phase, and flow simulations of intake & exhaust systems
• Plan, perform, and evaluate 3D CFD simulations with proper reporting
• Correlate simulation results with measurement data from engine tests and testbenches
• Enhance workflows and toolchains for simulation and data correlation

Your Profile

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or related fields
• Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development and 3D CFD simulation
• Strong knowledge of engine technology and virtual development tools
• Experience with testbench data handling
• Excellent teamwork, organizational skills, and responsibility
• Independent, precise working style
• Proficiency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
