This position is with Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany, and involves working on the internal combustion engine development for the Audi F1 Project, which is part of Audi's participation in Formula 1 from 2026.

Job Description:

As a Turbocharger Development Engineer specializing in CFD simulation, your responsibilities include:

• Developing combustion processes and gas-exchange via 3D-CFD simulations.
• Conducting thermodynamic development of the engine's gas-exchange, combustion phase, and flow simulation of intake and exhaust systems.
• Planning, executing, and evaluating 3D CFD simulations with proper reporting.
• Correlating simulation data with measurement data from engine tests and testbenches.
• Improving workflows and toolchains for simulation and data correlation.

Your Profile:

Applicants should have:

• A technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, fluid mechanics, or related fields.
• Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development, especially in 3D CFD simulation.
• Broad knowledge of engine technology and virtual development toolchains.
• Experience handling data from testbenches.
• Excellent teamwork, organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and precisely.
• Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language.
