A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a motivated individual to join their Plastic Surgery team from February to August 2026. The role involves attending ward rounds, clinics, and participating in teaching and audit meetings. Ideal candidates must have full GMC registration, primary medical qualification, and MRCS or equivalent. Experience in Plastic Surgery and teaching is highly valued. We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well‑integrated Plastic Surgery team at the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post is available from February 2026 until August 2026 and will involve working within a busy department attending ward rounds, theatre and clinics together with ward work and administrative work related to your clinical commitments.
Attendance at departmental audit meetings is compulsory, completion of an audit project is expected, and involvement in research is encouraged. Attendance at departmental teaching is expected and the post also involves teaching foundation trainees and medical students within the department.

Clinical:
The post will involve working within a busy Plastic Surgery department attending ward rounds, ward work, theatre and clinics together with the supervising Consultant or Registrar. There is no out of hours on‑call commitment.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
