A leading reproductive healthcare charity in Liverpool seeks a qualified Surgeon to conduct surgical terminations of pregnancy. The role involves providing safe medical care and working collaboratively within the clinic. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Medicine and a commitment to reproductive healthcare. This position offers 3.75 hours per week on alternate Thursdays and a competitive salary based on experience.

BPAS is looking for a Surgeon to perform terminations of pregnancy in our Merseyside Clinic. This role would be working on alternate Thursdays.
As a treatment doctor/surgeon you will provide safe, effective and comprehensive surgical and medical terminations of pregnancy to BPAS clients.
This role is working at BPAS Merseyside with the option to provide services in other areas nationally if you are able. We are looking for candidates who operate between 13+6 up to 24 weeks, with a willingness to train to higher gestations.
BPAS is an independent healthcare charity which has been advocating and caring for women and couples who decide to end a pregnancy for more than 50 years. We are the leading specialists of abortion advice and treatment in the UK, taking care of almost 80,000 women each year in over 50 clinics nationwide. Nearly all the women we see have their care paid for by the NHS.
With a Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent and full General Medical Council registration plus a license to practice, you will be passionate and committed to reproductive healthcare. You will ensure that all BPAS clients are treated in a professional and caring way and have unwavering support for a woman's right to choose abortion.
A good communicator you enjoy building strong working relationships across the business and enjoy maintaining such relationships as well.

£103,020 – £154,020 per annum (pro rata for part‑time hours) depending on gestational skills & experience.
