Job summary

The Housing Network in North Northants is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a growing team. You will provide trauma-informed, person-centered support to residents facing homelessness and complex needs, with flexible hours around a 20-hour week.

This dual role supports single adults and families, helping them secure tenancy rights, benefits, and pathways to independence while maintaining safeguarding for the individuals and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Experience as a support worker for vulnerable individuals and families.
• Experience with homelessness and/or mental-health and complex needs.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered support.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based and trauma-informed support, building trusting relationships.
• Deliver 1:1 support sessions and signposting for resident independence.
• Manage a caseload to ensure tailored support.
• Assist residents with tenancy documentation and benefits knowledge.
• Uphold safeguarding awareness for individuals and community.
