Job summary

The Housing Network is seeking a Complex Needs Support Worker in Leicester. The role involves delivering strength-based and trauma-informed support to residents, building trust, and developing outcome-focused support plans.

You will provide 1:1 sessions, case management, and signpost to help residents achieve independence. The position includes safeguarding responsibilities, tenancy support, and collaborative work with teams to ensure residents receive appropriate help and access to benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable people
• Experience with families facing homelessness and complex needs
• Commitment to safeguarding and safeguarding awareness

Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based, trauma-informed support and build trusting relationships with residents.
• Deliver 1:1 support sessions and signposting to help residents gain independence.
• Manage a caseload to ensure residents receive appropriate support.
• Assist residents with tenancy documents and benefits knowledge to inform support plans.
• Uphold safeguarding practices for individuals, residents, colleagues and the community.
