Job summary

The Housing Network in Leicester is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join a brand new Leicester Service, delivering strength-based, trauma-informed support to residents facing homelessness and complex needs.

You will manage a caseload, run 1:1 sessions, help residents access tenancy documentation and benefits, while upholding safeguarding standards; the role offers 40 hours per week with a salary of £30,500 per year and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting homeless or vulnerable people with complex needs.
• Ability to work trauma-informed and use strength-based planning.
• Experience managing a caseload and delivering 1:1 support sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based and trauma-informed support to residents.
• Conduct 1:1 support sessions and signpost to services.
• Manage a caseload ensuring appropriate engagement with support.
• Assist residents with tenancy documentation and benefits knowledge.
• Uphold safeguarding awareness for residents and staff.
