Hollywood Home in Brislington, Bristol, seeks compassionate and resilient Support Workers to provide day-to-day care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties in a trauma-informed, Ofsted-registered home.

Role involves shifts across mornings, afternoons, sleep-ins and waking nights, with responsibilities spanning safeguarding, education access, daily living skills, record-keeping and participation in training.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a childrens' residential home or young people supported accommodation
• Understanding of needs of children and young people with EBD
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation
• Ability to work flexible shifts including sleep-ins and waking nights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm and professional under pressure
• Commitment to safeguarding and development of young people
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Level 3 Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience with trauma-informed or therapeutic care approaches
• Driving licence preferred

• Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people.

• Implement care, risk and placement plans.
