Job summary

Salvation Army Homes is seeking a part-time Support Worker (nights) to provide trauma-informed care to young people aged 16-30 across North Somerset. The role includes 13 hours per week with two overnight sleep-in shifts on a rolling rota, plus out-of-hours coverage for unstaffed buildings, all while safeguarding residents and maintaining accurate records.

You will work to Ofsted standards, support independence, and travel to other sites as required.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience and passion for supporting young people.
• Willingness to cover a 24/7 rota as part of a team.
• UK driving licence, access to a car and willingness to travel to North Somerset sites.

Responsibilities

• Meet Ofsted standards for supported housing services.
• Meet the needs of our young people and safeguard residents appropriately.
• Maintain concise electronic records on various databases and systems.
• Support service development through co-production.
• Work across services to provide out-of-hours support.
