Job summary

Anchor is seeking a Children’s Support Worker to join our Ofsted registered home based in Bath or Bristol. You will provide safe, nurturing care and build trusting relationships to help children grow in confidence, resilience and independence.

You’ll work with a supportive team, follow safeguarding procedures, support daily routines, plan activities and keep accurate records while engaging in mandatory training and supervision.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and commitment to achieving it within two years.
• Experience of working with or caring for children and young people in any setting.
• Basic safeguarding knowledge and keeping children safe from harm.
• Empathy, warmth and patience to support children who may have experienced trauma.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and welfare of every child following safeguarding policies.
• Recognise and report signs of abuse and exploitation promptly.
• Provide warm, child-centred care in a nurturing home.
• Support daily routines, including school حضور, personal care and meals.
• Plan activities and build confidence through shared experiences.
• Keep accurate records and participate in supervision and training.
