Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers to support young people with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include Maths, English, or Science tutoring, delivered in person, online, or hybrid, to KS1–KS5 as appropriate.

Candidates should have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, an Enhanced DBS, and references, with a commitment to safeguarding and trauma-informed education. The role is self-employed, with ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS or QTLS is required or held.”

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
