Targeted Provision Ltd in the UK is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with schools and local authorities, delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online, or hybrid formats to young people with SEMH and SEND needs.

Candidates with 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, enhanced DBS and safeguarding knowledge are invited to apply; roles are self-employed with flexible hours and opportunities across the UK.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, or Science to diverse learners.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (we can assist) and 2+ professional references.
• UK residence and right to work is essential, including for remote roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online/remote, or hybrid formats to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils across KS1–KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan, deliver, and report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising educational standards for learners with SEND and SEMH.
