Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs. You will deliver Maths, English or Science tuition in person, online or via hybrid setups, adapting to trauma-informed approaches and individual learning plans.

You should have at least 2 years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS. The role is self-employed with flexible hours to fit your schedule across local schools and authorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, preferably with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references.
• UK-based with right to work; remote allowed where applicable.
• Safeguarding knowledge and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan lessons and report progress; deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools and provide feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising standards for SEND learners and collaborate with the team.
