Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver in-person, hybrid, and remote Maths, English, or Science tuition for learners with SEND and SEMH needs. You will plan, deliver, and assess progress for KS1–KS5 students referred by local authorities and schools, using trauma-informed methods.

Qualifications include QTS/QTLS and Enhanced DBS, with 2+ references. The role is self-employed and offers flexible hours and a supportive backup team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH needs with a trauma-informed approach
