Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking qualified SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners through trauma-informed, flexible Maths, English or Science tuition.

We offer in-person, hybrid and remote roles with a self-employed basis, 2+ years of teaching, QTS/QTLS, enhanced DBS and references, plus CPD, mentoring and a supportive SEND team. Join a purpose-driven, community-focused company and make a real difference in your teaching journey.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/ PMLD in trauma-informed approach
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS disclosure and 2+ professional references
• Based in the UK with right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Contribute to raising educational standards for SEND and SEMH learners
