Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition to students with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles are self-employed with flexible hours and opportunities for in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching across the UK.

Candidates should have QTS/QTLS, at least 2 years of teaching experience, and a proactive, trauma-informed approach. DBS and references are required; right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualifications: QTS/QTLS.
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Location: UK-based, valid right to work in the UK, even for remote/online roles.
• Safeguarding knowledge and safe learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teens and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to our mission to raise the standard of education for young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
