Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the Manchester area to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners. We offer in-person, hybrid, and remote opportunities with flexible hours and a trauma-informed teaching approach.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and safeguarding knowledge. You will teach Maths, English or Science to KS1-5, plan and report on lessons, and receive CPD mentoring within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH experience.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition for Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND/SEMH.
• Support pupils by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, deliver them, and provide regular progress feedback to against learning goals.
