Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND tutors and teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners across the UK. Roles include Maths, English, or Science tutoring with trauma-informed approaches, offering in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching to suit your schedule.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS with references. The role is self-employed with flexible hours and ongoing opportunities within local authorities and schools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with the right to work in the UK, including remote work where applicable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online / remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children, teens and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
