Family Action in Bradford is looking for a part-time Children and Families Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join the Survive and Thrive service. The role is 22.2 hours per week over three days, fixed-term for 12 months with funding-dependent extension, based in Central Bradford with community sessions across the district.

You will deliver trauma-informed support to children, young people and families affected by domestic abuse, completing full family assessments and developing support plans

Formación

• Experience of working directly with children, young people and families where there has been domestic abuse
• An understanding and experience of trauma informed approaches to working with children and families
• Experience of safeguarding risk assessment, identifying safeguarding concerns and following procedures

Responsabilidades

• Completing whole family assessments to identify need
• Building support plans with families to address the impact of domestic abuse
• Delivering trauma informed interventions with children, young people and their families
