Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd in Bradford is recruiting a Domestic Abuse Practitioner (Children and Young People) to support adolescents affected by domestic abuse. The role is 22.5 hours per week over three days (Mon, Tue, Wed) and sits within the Bradford RESET team, a trauma‑informed, multi‑agency service.

Key duties include receiving referrals, identifying young people aged 11–17, and delivering developmentally appropriate, safeguarding‑led support in collaboration with partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people.
• Ability to build authentic relationships and trust.
• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment understanding.
• Excellent communication with professionals and families.
• Ability to work as part of a multi‑agency team.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals from Bradford RESET Family Workers.
• Identify young people aged 11‑17 within families involved in the programme.
• Provide developmentally appropriate, needs-led support.
• Work within safeguarding and multi‑agency planning frameworks.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure effective, family‑centred support.
