Job summary

The Housing Network in Wolverhampton is seeking a Complex Needs Support Worker for maternity cover of 9 to 12 months. You will support residents who are homeless or at risk, using trauma-informed, strength-based approaches and building trusting relationships to create tailored support plans.

You will manage a caseload, run 1:1 sessions, help residents with tenancy documents and benefits, and ensure safeguarding is upheld.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults and families facing homelessness and complex needs.
• Strong trauma-informed approach and strength-based support.
• Ability to manage a caseload and provide 1:1 support sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength based and trauma informed support to residents.
• Deliver 1:1 support sessions and signpost services to promote independence.
• Assist residents with tenancy documentation and benefits awareness.
• Maintain safeguarding awareness and integrity in all interactions.
