Job summary

Volvo Trucks is seeking a Transport Solutions Executive to own a Cambridgeshire territory with an established customer base. The role focuses on growing revenue and market share by selling Volvo Trucks complete product and service offerings, including electric, gas vehicles, telematics, maintenance and financial solutions.

You will build long-term partnerships with customers and travel regularly across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-value B2B sales, ideally in heavy commercial vehicles or capital equipment.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative team player who works across the business to solve problems and achieve goals.
• Confident using business systems and digital tools to manage customer relationships and support commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing accounts and win new business using a consultative approach.
• Use CRM and systems to manage pipeline and customer activity.
• Develop accurate commercial proposals and quotations with strong commercial judgement.
• Coordinate suppliers linked to customer contracts for consistent performance.
• Achieve volume and gross profit targets both individually and with the team.
• Identify continuous improvements to enhance customer outcomes and performance.
• Represent Volvo at customer meetings and events.
• Collaborate across Volvo to share insights and opportunities.
