Job summary

Volvo Group Renault Trucks division in the UK invites experienced HGV drivers (C+E) to join a mobile role delivering new truck handovers and ongoing customer support across the Midlands, Cardiff and Bristol. You will ensure proper vehicle instruction and safety checks at depots and customer sites.

You will also explore additional income streams, including driver training and short-term hire, while upholding compliance, taxes and registration processes.

Qualifications

• HGV C+E Drivers licence (Class 1)
• National Certificate in Road Transport an advantage
• IT literate to work within company processes and systems
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook applications
• Competent in PowerPoint with the ability to present confidently
• Experience of risk assessment as the role requires work to be conducted on customer premises
• Flexible with working hours to meet customer demands and expectations
• Strong communication and negotiating skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and exceptional customer vehicle handovers in depot and at customer sites
• Ensure all safety checks, compliance and vehicle quality checks are conducted
• Provide driver training and short-term hire opportunities as needed
• Identify potential income streams such as training and hire
