Job summary

Renault Trucks is seeking a CPC and C+E HGV qualified driver to deliver and support new truck handovers and ongoing customer assistance. The mobile role covers the Midlands, Cardiff and Bristol, ensuring customers are instructed on vehicle controls and safety checks.

You will conduct demos, support brand knowledge, and telematics, train fleet customers, and identify new income streams. A 40-hour week with a company car and pension benefits awaits within a global group.

Qualifications

• HGV C+E Drivers licence (Class 1)
• Up-to-date CPC qualification
• National Certificate in Road Transport an advantage
• IT literate to work within company processes and systems
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook applications
• Competent in PowerPoint with the ability to present confidently
• Experience of risk assessment as the role requires work to be conducted on customer premises
• Flexible with working hours to meet customer demands and expectations
• Strong communication and negotiating skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and exceptional customer vehicle handovers in depot and at customer sites.
• Provide ongoing customer support and instruction on vehicle controls.
• Conduct safety checks, compliance and vehicle quality checks before handover.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and telematics to customers.
• Train fleet customers and identify potential income streams (driver training, short-term hire).
• Coordinate and manage vehicle demonstrations to maximise customer experience and product value.

What You Will Do

Renault Truck Commercials is seeking a CPC and C+E HGV qualified driver with experience of the truck industry to deliver maximum customer satisfaction by providing and supporting new truck vehicle handovers and onward customer support.

This mobile position will be covering the Midlands, Cardiff and Bristol where you will deliver professional and exceptional Customer vehicle handovers in depot and at customer sites ensuring the customer has been adequately instructed on the vehicle controls etc..

You will also ensure all safety checks, compliance and vehicle quality checks are conducted and adhered to before handing the vehicle to the customer.

This Involves

• Ensuring they are registered and taxed
• Conducting customer demonstration on controls etc
• Supporting the customer with Imparting brand knowledge and Optifleet telematics
• Working with Fleet customers providing driver training as required
• Identifying potential income streams i.e. driver training and short-term hire
• Control and manage customer vehicle demonstrations, maximising customer experience and the value and efficiency of our products

Package

• up to £50,000 basic dependent on experience,
• company car,
• 7% matched pension scheme plus excellent benefits associated with working within a global group.
• Monday to Friday 40 hours a week

Requirements

• HGV C+E Drivers licence (Class 1)
• Up-to-date CPC qualification
• Core understanding and experience of transport operations National Certificate in Road Transport an advantage.
• IT Literate to work within company processes and systems.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook applications & general computer literacy
• Competent in PowerPoint with the ability to present confidently
• Experience of risk assessment as the role requires work to be conducted on customer premises
• Flexible with working hours to meet customer demands and expectations
• Strong communication and negotiating skills
