Job summary

Veolia are seeking a Transport Co-ordinator in Basingstoke to manage day-to-day service delivery, allocating work to vehicles and routes while maintaining strong communication with customers and drivers.

You will conduct debriefs with frontline staff, report actions, and ensure regulatory transport compliance. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and timely updates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with transport compliance and working to WTD is preferred.
• Strong communication with drivers, customers, and colleagues.
• Ability to organise a busy workload and work at pace.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of service delivery and dynamic allocation of work to vehicles/routes.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, provide status updates and driver contact.
• Complete debriefs with frontline staff and report actions or updates.
• Face-to-face engagement with drivers to address issues on route.
• Report safety concerns or container damage and stop the job if unsafe.
