Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Transport Service Coordinator in Dewsbury to manage daily service delivery, allocate routes and communicate with customers and drivers. You will support drivers on route, report safety concerns, and ensure compliance with WTD and transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of transport compliance and WTD.
• Good communication with drivers, frontline staff and customers.
• Ability to organise busy workloads and operate at a fast pace; experience with ISO QMS.
• Experience operating in waste/transport/logistics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of service delivery and allocation of work to vehicles/routes.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, provide status updates and maintain driver contact.
• Complete debriefs with frontline staff and report actions or updates as required.
• Engage with drivers on-site to address issues on route and support resolution.
• Report safety concerns or container damage and encourage stopping the job if unsafe.
• Ensure Veolia on-site compliance with WTD, O-license and transport rules.
