Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Transport Service Coordinator in Exeter to manage daily service delivery, allocate routes and liaise with drivers and customers. You will monitor performance, raise actions, and ensure ongoing compliance with transport regulations.

The role involves on-site coordination, incident reporting and working within a supportive team to maintain high service standards and safety across operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of transport compliance and WTD.
• Strong communication with drivers, customers and colleagues.
• Ability to manage a busy workload at pace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day service delivery and allocate work to vehicles/routes.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, provide status updates and driver liaison.
• Conduct debriefs with frontline staff and report actions as needed.
• Engage face-to-face with drivers to resolve on-route issues.
• Report safety concerns or damage and stop work if unsafe to continue.
• Ensure Veolia on-site transport compliance (WTD, O'licence).
