Job summary

Veolia Bas ingstoke is seeking a Transport Service Coordinator to manage day-to-day service delivery, allocate work to routes and liaise with drivers and customers. You will ensure timely updates, handle on-site issues and uphold transport compliance.

A fast-paced environment and ISO quality processes are part of the role; a professional approach with strong IT skills is required. The role offers a competitive salary with a 15% annual bonus plus Veolia benefits and pension, plus 40-hour week on

Qualifications

Understanding of transport compliance and WTD.
Strong communication with drivers, frontline staff and customers.
Ability to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace; experience with a quality management system (ISO).
Proficient IT skills and ability to adapt to Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of service delivery and dynamic allocation of work to vehicles/routes.
Communicating with customers and stakeholders, providing status updates and maintaining contact with drivers.
Completing debriefs with frontline staff and reporting actions or updates as required, including on-site engagement with drivers.
Reporting safety concerns or container damage and stopping the job if unsafe to continue.
Ensuring Veolia compliance on-site (WTD, O-licence and transport compliance).
