Responsibilities
  • Managing a team of 7 transport planners and drivers, conducting reviews and 1:1s
  • Helping to maintain and develop customer SLAs, working closely with the warehouse to ensure all dispatches and loads are accurate and correct
  • Reviewing and improving the transport site
  • Liaising with third party hauliers on a regular basis, developing and maintaining strong relationships with them
  • Working internally across multiple teams within the business

This is a full‑time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00am – 8.00pm, no weekend working!

Qualifications
  • A manager's CPC is essential so you can run your own fleet vehicles
  • Proven experience running a multi‑site fleet and managing third party contract haulage
  • Continuous improvement in developing and increasing internal transport usage
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft packages including Microsoft Excel. You will be expected to run reports on Microsoft Excel
