Job summary

Veolia Exeter is seeking a Transport Controller to oversee day-to-day service delivery, allocate routes and support drivers on schedule.

You will liaise with customers, provide status updates and report issues while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, including WTD and transport licensing. The role includes training, development opportunities and a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of transport compliance and WTD.
• Good communication with drivers, frontline staff and customers.
• Ability to organise a busy workload and work at fast pace.
• Experience in similar waste/transport/logistics industry.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of service delivery, including allocation of work to vehicles/routes.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, providing status updates and maintaining contact with drivers.
• Complete debriefs with frontline staff and report necessary actions or updates.
