Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Transport Administrator to be the primary contact for transport issues and to perform administrative duties to support depot governance and service delivery. You will handle calls and emails, input data, and maintain records to ensure accurate, timely information is available for the Transport Manager.

The role requires strong organisational skills, experience in food distribution, cash handling, and proficient IT skills, with a focus on delivering service excellence

Qualifications

• Experience in the food distribution market.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain records.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Clear communication by telephone and email; ability to work with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to ensure depot governance requirements are met.
• Handle calls/emails and escalate issues to Transport Manager as needed.
• Input data into electronic systems accurately.
• Maintain and retrieve physical or electronic records efficiently.
• Coordinate with other departments to disseminate information and support depot targets.
• Support Transport supervisors/managers in day-to-day tasks.
• Monitor TLC customers throughout delivery/order processes to maintain service quality.
