Job summary

Vix Technology is seeking two Field Services Engineers in the United Kingdom to maintain, troubleshoot, and support on-vehicle and on-street systems. The role emphasizes electrical diagnostics, customer communication, and adherence to SLAs.

Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical/vehicle maintenance and a track record of autonomous, organized work with strong customer service skills. UK residency is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical/vehicle maintenance qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3).
• Ability to work autonomously with high standards and strong organizational skills.
• Proven experience as a field engineer with electrical/electronic diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system issues via electrical testing and monitoring tools.
• Resolve hardware faults on vehicles and on-street equipment.
• Maintain clear communication with customers on maintenance and fault resolution.
• Drive KPI performance improvements and adhere to SLAs.
• Install and commission on-vehicle and on-street systems.
• Document maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with local teams and Configuration Engineers.
