Qualifications
  • Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
  • Qualification in service improvement tools and techniques, Lean, Six Sigma
Desirable Qualifications
  • Qualification in business process reengineering/redesign.
Experience
  • Programme and project management experience and delivery in an acute NHS setting of significant transformation or improvement
  • Experience of managing risk and reporting by exception.
  • Budgetary management and financial analysis to model projected benefits.

  • Business case development for significant transformation programmes.
Main Duties
  • The post holder will play a key part in the Trust’s New Hospital Programme team working within the transformation team and with teams across the Trust and wider system to effect change in a timely way, aligned to the trusts values and governance procedures.
  • The postholder will support a designated transformation programme and will deputise for the Programme Lead. The post holder will work closely with a wide variety of teams to deliver complex transformation projects on time and within budget, demonstrating quality, financial benefits and risk management controls.
  • The postholder will lead stakeholder engagement, reporting, planning and delivery of service reconfiguration and transformation projects across a range of operational areas.
  • The post holder will work with teams to develop, quantify, deliver and embed the agreed changes.
  • The post holder will develop highly collaborative relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders to deliver the agreed outcomes of their portfolio.
  • The post holder will provide professional leadership and guidance to the wider Trust and staff in relation to effective project management monitoring and leadership. Critically analysing information and risks in order to inform wider decision making.
