Job summary

St Giles Trust is seeking a Training Systems Administrator to support the delivery and administration of our learning and development programme within the People & Organisational Development team. You will ensure colleagues can access high-quality learning opportunities while maintaining the LMS.

This role focuses on digital systems, data, and people, helping create a seamless learning experience and supporting compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or Learning & Development.
  • Experience using digital systems and managing data accurately.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence producing reports and analysing information.
  • Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality requirements.
  • Experience of using a Learning Management System or similar platform.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently while building strong relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Set up and manage user accounts, courses, learning pathways, and certification records.
  • Coordinate virtual and face-to-face training sessions.
  • Manage bookings, communications, joining instructions, and attendance records.
  • Produce training and compliance reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure training records are audit-ready.
  • Provide first-line support for colleagues using the LMS.
  • Support the maintenance and updating of digital learning content.
  • Develop user guides, FAQs, and support materials.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external training providers to deliver an excellent learning experience.

We're looking for a Training Systems Administrator to play a key role in the delivery and administration of our learning and development programme. Working within our People & Organisational Development team, you'll ensure colleagues can easily access high-quality learning opportunities while maintaining the accuracy and effectiveness of our Learning Management System (LMS).

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with digital systems, data, and people. You'll help create a seamless learning experience across the organisation while supporting compliance, workforce development, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Administer and maintain our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Set up and manage user accounts, courses, learning pathways, and certification records

About You

We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working with systems and data. You will have:

  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR, Learning & Development, training, or a similar environment
  • Experience using digital systems and managing data accurately
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence producing reports and analysing information
  • Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality requirements
  • Experience of using a Learning Management System or similar platform
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently while building strong relationships across teams.
Desirable
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise
  • Knowledge of learning and development environments
  • Experience improving processes and systems
  • Awareness of the use of AI tools in learning administration and digital learning content development.
