We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Learning & Development Assistant to support the delivery of our firmwide learning, development and early careers programmes.

You will play a key role in co-ordinating training activities, supporting apprenticeships and trainee programmes, maintaining learning records and helping to ensure our colleagues have access to high-quality development opportunities.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will help deliver programmes that support professional competence, career development and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate training courses, workshops and development programmes
- Manage training bookings, joining instructions, attendance records and evaluations
- Support the administration of the firm's online learning platform and learning records
- Assist with the delivery of trainee solicitor, apprenticeship and work experience programmes
- Monitor completion of mandatory and compliance-based training
- Produce regular reports on learning activity, attendance and training compliance
- Maintain accurate records of CPD and professional development activities
- Liaise with external training providers, educational institutions and professional bodies
- Support internal training events, leadership programmes and development initiatives
- Assist with careers fairs, school, college and university engagement activities
- Prepare training materials, presentations and communications
- Respond to learning and development enquiries from colleagues across the firm
- Support the continuous improvement of learning and development processes and resources

- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Previous administration experience within HR, training, education or professional services
- Experience of learning management systems (LMS)
- Experience supporting training events or apprenticeship programmes
