Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic Training Officer to support the development of our Catering Services workforce. You will plan, coordinate and deliver mandatory and role-specific training, ensuring compliance with statutory and Council requirements.

You will travel between sites to develop engaging training solutions and maintain records while supporting audits. The role offers a salary of £32,578–£35,570 with access to training and development opportunities and

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering mandatory and role-specific training, ensuring staff remain compliant with statutory, legislative, regulatory and Council requirements. Working across multiple sites, you will develop engaging training solutions, maintain accurate compliance records, support audits and inspections, and provide advice and guidance to managers and staff. For the role, we ask that you have

• A minimum Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales in a training, teaching or assessing discipline.
