A local fire service in Manchester is looking for a Training & Resource Planner to oversee operational training course coordination. You will manage schedules, liaise with team members, and ensure compliance with training regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a passion for aiding development in the workplace. The opportunity involves providing daily co-ordination of all operational resources across Greater Manchester, giving organisational and general support for colleagues and external customers around operational cover within GMFRS. This will include managing rosters and availability of operational staff in a highly effective and busy team and working alongside all levels of operational staff across the organisation.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about helping people. Having excellent communication skills is essential for this position as you will be dealing with internal employees and external customers on a regular basis. You need to be able to use your own initiative when it comes to implementing new ideas that help with the development of our team as well as our future workforce.
