Acker-Tech is a growing MSP based in Harlow, Essex, seeking a Trainee Tech Support Engineer who loves technology and wants to learn. You will work with engineers on real client issues from day one, including site visits, with strong development opportunities and a clear path to more senior roles.

Ideal candidates are curious, adaptable and enjoy solving problems, with basic Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking knowledge and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Interest in IT and willingness to learn.
• Ability to solve problems logically.
• Clear communication with non-technical people.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking.
• UK resident with full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Log, work and update support tickets by phone, email and remote session
• Troubleshoot everyday hardware, software, printer and Microsoft 365 issues
• Set up laptops, phones and new starter accounts
• Handle password resets plus mailbox and Teams access requests
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with clear notes
• Join engineers on client site visits, office moves and device rollouts
• Document fixes so the whole team can use them
